Operations with Signed Numbers

Any sign, whether positive or negative placed in front of a number indicate the quality of the number. For example, a positive sign (+) indicate a positive quantity, and a minus sign (−) to indicate a negative quantity.Learning to use signed numbers is an introduction to some of the special rules for algebraic operations.
