Simultaneous Linear Equations

Simultaneous Linear Equations, or linear systems of equations are in effect equations that have the same variables.

For example, x + 3y = 12 and 3x + y = 10. In these examples, both equations are simultaneous, because they both have the same variables: x and y. Simultaneous equations having two variables can be solved by using one of the three methods.

 1) Method of Elimination

2) Method of Substitution

3) Method of Comparison.
